This is important part of entire loco wherein the drive is transmitted to wheels either via Transmission or Traction Motor. We have hard core expertise in overhauling of Final drive gearboxes as well as traction motors. We also supply new wheel & Axle set for diesel electric locomotives and undertake reprofiling of wheels. We supply new forged wheels as per IRS standards which delivers long life on rail.
Combination of different gear ratios and torque convertors; transmission remains heart of locomotive. We have many of the parts available off the shelf; ready for assembly. We undertake repairs, overhauling and retrofitting of all kinds of transmissions like L2r2, L3r4, DIWA, HDR IV, KPC convertors 53 / 63 etc.
Pneumatic Valve for Breaking,Throttling and Transmission control Purpose We undertake overhauling and repairs of all the pneumatic valves fitted on locomotives. We also supply new valves with extended warranty terms on the performance. These valves are used for braking of locomotive as well as for trailing load (Wagons) Further to the above we carry out installation of braking system for rolling stock (Wagons) also tendum operation which enable operation of multiple locomotives from a single leading loco.
